AICTE announces a new scholarship scheme for girl students in BBA, BCA, and BMS programs on International Women’s Day, aiming to promote diversity and inclusivity in India’s technical and management education.
AICTE approved institutions will be the recipients of 3000 scholarships every year for female students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Each recipient of the scholarship will get a yearly award of Rs 25,000. For a period of three years, AICTE would invest a total of Rs 7.5 crore every year to help female students financially. Only female students studying BBA, BCA, and BMS programmes at AICTE-approved institutions are eligible for this new grant.
