Of all the states, the Himachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission (HPPERC) is the model. The Himachal Pradesh government established the H.P. Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission in accordance with Section 3 of the Himachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions (Regulatory Commission) Act, 2010 with the aim of establishing a regulatory framework within the state and serving as a liaison between the State Government and Central Regulatory Bodies to guarantee suitable standards for admission, teaching, examination, research, and safeguarding the interests of students in private educational institutions, as well as for matters related or incidental thereto. To solve the problems, several Indian states must implement the same approach. The UGC standards are upheld by this commission.
