2. To vote on Algeria’s proposed resolution regarding the Israel-Hamas conflict, the UN Security Council will meet. An “instantaneous and unconditional release of every single hostage” is also demanded in the draft resolution, along with an urgent humanitarian cease-fire. In addition to suggesting a different language, the US has hinted that it would oppose the resolution.
