The Bar Council of India released an announcement encouraging vice chancellors and higher education departments throughout the country to support its efforts to preserve the credibility and integrity of legal education. Despite earlier resolutions, the state administration awarded more than three hundred no-objection certificates (NOCs) to newly established legal colleges, emphasising the importance of robust rules. The circular emphasises the responsibility of colleges and the government in preventing the spread of inferior law colleges and calls for joint cooperation to maintain educational standards.
