The Odisha government announced a new policy that provides benefits to Block Grant employees of colleges.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced a number of incentives pertaining to service for both teaching and non-teaching staff members employed by the state’s non-government-aided higher education institutions.
According to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), employees under the block grant system who are teaching or non-teaching would receive 15 days of annual leave, and female employees would receive 180 days of maternity leave for two births on top of the annual leave.
